Once again, welcome

Once again, welcome. I'm so excited for you because you and your team are about to embark on a truly transformational journey.

This guide gives you everything you need to roll-out High Performance Therapist Academy with your team.

HPTA works because of the system behind it, and that system only delivers results when it's followed properly. Registration, scheduling, Zoom sessions, workbooks, and accountability all play a part. Skip a piece and you weaken the whole.

Use this guide to set your team up correctly from day one. Each section below covers what you need to organise, what to communicate to your therapists, and what's expected of you as the program runs.

If you're ever unsure about how to apply something here, reach out to me at [email protected]. It's easier to get it right at the start than to course-correct halfway through.

Your checklist

  1. Register everyone participating in High Performance Therapist Academy
  2. Provide us with a different email for us to set up the Employee Portal
  3. Make sure every student registers themselves separately to attend the Zoom Coaching calls.
  4. Leave a legacy of wealth behind for your children.
  5. Print workbooks as they become available.

Registering every participating student in HPTA

Please complete the student registration form as soon as possible so I can set your team up correctly. The form will require:

  • The email address you'd like used for HPTA access. Many business owners also purchase business courses, resources, or products from me. I recommend using a different email address for the student portal of High Performance Therapist Academy. Your team needs access to HPTA, but you probably don't want them accessing your business owner products or training materials.
  • The names of all participants. I need the name of every team member participating in the program, including the owner or manager who will also be attending.

Please submit this information as early as possible. Your team's access depends on it, and late submissions can delay their start.

How the Program Works

Every Wednesday, starting Wednesday, July 22nd, one program module will be released into the HPTA portal. There are four modules in total.

Each module takes around one hour to view, give or take. I strongly recommend blocking a minimum of 90 minutes per week for each team member to work through the lessons and complete the exercises attached to most of them. If you can allocate two hours, even better.

This isn't training that should be squeezed in between clients, done while distracted, or rushed through at the end of the day. The more seriously this time is protected, the better the result will be for your team and your business.

Using Downtime Wisely

I'd also encourage you to make the most of any downtime during the program, quiet periods between clients, cancellations, or slow spells, by turning them into extra study time.

Momentum matters here. The therapists who get the most out of HPTA are the ones who stay immersed in the material, not the ones who do the bare minimum and then step away until the next module drops. Extra time spent reviewing lessons, redoing exercises, or applying what they've learned with real clients is what turns knowledge into habit. Every spare 15 minutes used this way compounds over the 4 weeks.

The Weekly Zoom Coaching & Q+A Calls

Every attendee must register individually for the weekly coaching calls using this registration link. Registration is only required once and covers all sessions.

Registering correctly matters, a lot. When registering, I need each person's first name in the first name field, and their role in the surname field. For example:

  • Julie Therapist
  • Samantha Owner
  • Meredith Manager
  • Simone Receptionist

Please direct your team to register exactly this way. It's how I keep track of who's who across the calls, and incorrect registrations make that much harder. Cameras need to be on for the full session.

Attending the Calls

I'd prefer each person joins on their own device rather than grouping around one screen. During the calls, I'll be interacting directly with participants, and I need to be able to see and identify everyone individually. If this is not possible, please have each person wear a nametag or hold up a sign clearly showing their name, visible on camera.

Come prepared with questions. These calls are where the material gets applied to real situations, so the more your team brings to the table, the more useful the session will be for them.

Workbooks & Other Printing Resources

Every Monday, the workbook for the upcoming module will be made available right here, so check back regularly to access it. I'll also be adding other resources here as they become available.

Please print everything out as you receive it and provide a copy to each participant by Wednesday of each week. I know that's a fair amount of paper, and I'm usually the first to recycle wherever possible, but in this case, learning, note-taking, and completing the exercises are best done by hand.

I'd also recommend giving each therapist a folder to keep their printouts in. By the end of the program, it'll double as their go-to reference for the future.

How students should use the video lessons and workbook

Each lesson is designed to be watched first, then reinforced. Start with the video lesson for that week, and make sure you have the Module workbook in front of you and work through the matching section in your straight after each lesson, while it's still fresh. The workbook isn't just a companion piece. It carries the core teaching from the lesson in a condensed form and prompts to fill in.

You'll come to a Your Reflection prompt in your workbook at key points. When you reach one, pause the video, turn to that section, and complete it there and then, before continuing. It's designed to be answered while the idea is fresh, not reconstructed from memory later.

Your Own Notes prompt can be found at the end of each lesson. While watching, write your own notes and capture anything else that stood out: a question for the coaching call, something to try this week, a client already coming to mind.

The workbook becomes your ongoing reference. Keep it, refer back to it, and use it to check yourself against the standard long after the program ends.

Emails

Every week, you'll receive an email from me pointing you back to this guide and helping you take your team through this transformational journey.

Nothing works unless you work it. Staying on top of your team, making sure they've watched the videos, done the exercises, and applied what they've learned day to day, takes real accountability on your part. That's where I come in. Each week's email will give you practical ways to keep your team accountable, so keep an eye out for them and use what's inside.
