MOMENTUM CHECKLIST DURING BUSINESS SHUT DOWN
Alone Together
I want to first thank you for having the faith in me to help and support you through this difficult season of your business lives. Yes, ‘season’, and just like all other seasons, it will pass. We may come out of this with a few scratches, but we WILL come out of it.
For our own safety and well-being, we’ve been mandated to stay home, and as much as this may feel lonely, know that we are alone together. I too have the same fears and questions for my own business and my family’s future that you do, but here’s what I know for sure and I want you to muster up the confidence to feel the same.
We are strong, we are resilient and we can choose to believe that something good will come out of this. Patience, and empathy is required, as is commitment and strength. There are big lessons for us all. I also choose to believe the universe is preparing us all for something bigger. We just need to have faith in that.
There’s a lot we can do and quite a bit we should do. I am so very conscious of not overwhelming you so I’ve created this checklist page to help keep you clear and on track. I hope it helps.
First things, first. Prioritise.
The webinar I presented late March is a good starting point to prioritise where to start. I highlight two objectives that should keep top of mind throughout the time, the business is not open.
- Keep the cash flow flowing. Do whatever it takes to keep money coming in because we sure know that money will need to be going out!
- Maintain in contact with your clients. Keep the connection going.
Cashflow + Connection = Momentum
Momentum IS your focus, for it's the momentum that will keep you top of mind when it's time to emerge stronger than ever!

Summary of posts you shouldn't miss for week ending Sunday April 5th 2020
- Sharon Vojtech shared a hilarious post about 'hair-care' advice. Great post to share in your group to start some conversations.
https://www.facebook.com/PersonalBrigitteBenge/videos/10158394095230680/ - Some scripting you might find useful explaining to clients that you made be close for treatments but you're not close for business. Retail and virtual skin consultations still happening. https://www.facebook.com/groups/331686730767861/permalink/585391878730677/
- In a comment to one of Candice’s offer ideas, here’s a suggestion you might find valuable. To see the full post, here’s the link.
Remember what I've said....the perceived value to the client must be especially high. I don't think it does in this situation.
I would think something like 'Buy 2 products and receive a mask free' would seem way more valuable, would cost you minimal and the conversation would be extended to how to use the mask at home. Plus, you're creating a situation where a client could potentially love the mask and repeat purchase in the future. Also, a better offer to have conversations in your Facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/331686730767861/permalink/585079958761869/ - Wendy Michetti shared some valuable information with you regarding JobKeeper Allowance. Just so you know, Wendy is on the board of HABA and has some very useful insights and information! https://www.facebook.com/groups/331686730767861/permalink/585610535375478/
- Hilarious meme with dog on the kitchen cupboards. Share this in your group. Create conversations like asking people to share a picture of their pet https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10158394326700680&set=a.406311740679&type=3&theater
- This is the main thread to workshop Facebook groups https://www.facebook.com/groups/331686730767861/permalink/586115901991608/
