Many of you know that after my Bachelor of Business in Marketin, my career started in the advertising industry. Over 15 years I worked my way to the most senior position of Account Director, and I was the highest, youngest paid account director in my agency.

I worked at least 50 hours a week, often evenings and weekends and when my employer said “Jump”, not saying “How high?” wasn’t an option. When I had my first son, it wasn’t uncommon for me to go 3 days in a row without seeing my him. I’d leave for work before he woke and came home after he was asleep.

My coaching goal for the industry was to coach leadership, business management and high performance because 15 years in the advertising industry taught me that the best marketing campaign in the world (and I worked with client marketing budgets in excess of $5 million/year), at best, would render big revenue results short term but would fall flat long term because the right systems and strategies were not in place to sustain the win… and THAT, created long term losses. I’ve been coaching now for well over a decade and coached many salon and skin clinic owners and their team to high performance and profitability but there’s still one area of the business that many are not able to master fully and that is how to execute a successful marketing campaign. No doubt, you’ve heard me say that the best promotion ideas that should work, don’t work simply because they aren’t executed well. You’ve also heard me say umpteen times, “Nothing works unless you work it”.
